Invictus Australia has welcomed the Federal Government’s decision to reinstate funding for the organisation’s national veteran sport and rehabilitation programs, confirming $3 million over three years to support veterans and their families across Australia.
The funding commitment ensures Invictus Australia can continue delivering evidence based, community led programs that support recovery, rehabilitation, social connection and successful transition beyond military service.
The announcement follows an overwhelming response from veterans, families, supporters and the broader Australian community, who rallied behind Invictus Australia in recent weeks to highlight the importance of the organisation’s work.
