Go4fun is a FREE 10 week program for children aged 7-13 years and their families run by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District. Children play fun games each week and learn about healthy eating. Receive lots of goodies including handballs, skipping ropes and recipe books. We are a not-for-profit quilting group, holding our bi-annual Quilt Show in Berry on 3-5 May. Venue: Berry School of Arts, 19 Alexandra St, Berry. Opening Times: Friday and Saturday 9.30-4.00; Sunday 9.30-3.00 The Show will feature a variety of quilts; anyone from the local area may enter, viewers will vote for their favourite quilts. All profits will go to Salt Care and SAHSSI, two local charities. There will be a featured quilter, Jennifer Corkish, a Small Quilt Challenge, a beautiful raffle quilt, a suitcase challenge display from QuiltNSW, a cafe serving tea and scones, a variety of stallholders, a silent auction and a salesroom with beautiful hand-made goods and quilts for sale.

Encore Support is a family and disability support service with a passion for supporting the wellbeing, mental health and inclusion of all community members. We currently run Wellness Wednesday, meeting at 10am each week, for friendship, fresh air and connection. The program is open to all community members who feel they would benefit from getting out and meeting new people. Come by yourself, with your family, a support worker, or we can provide support for you. No one needs to feel alone.

Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands

Lions Clubs are the largest service club in the world. Fabulous work done in the local area for health, education, youth programs, disaster relief and the environment as well as supporting national and international initiatives. There is also some fun with social events and dinners and you get to meet new people. We meet at Club Jervis Bay, 8 Currambene St; Husskison, on the first Thursday of the month. Want to know more?
