A man has died and another man is in a serious condition following a mobile home fire at Greenwell Point.
Just after 10pm (Wednesday 12 August 2026), emergency services were called to a tourist park on Greens Road, Greenwell Point, about 15km east of Nowra, following reports of a fire.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and located a mobile home well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the fire before locating a body, believed to be that of an elderly man, inside the property.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Another man was also treated at the scene for serious burns and smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire is underway.
No suspicious circumstances have been identified at this time.
A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
