Spider-Noir, is a variant of the Spider-Man character from a cult classic comic series that saw Peter Parker receive spider powers from a spider god in 1930’s New York City. The Prime Video adaptation will feature Nicolas Cage as the daring web swinger in two seperate viewing options. The upcoming series is being released in true-hue full colour, or in the 1930’s noir fashion in authentic black and white.

An aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.
In this series, we follow Ben Reilly rather than Peter Parker. Ben Reilly in the comics is famously a clone of Peter Parker who adopted his uncles name to differentiate himself from the original. Spider-Noir is the comics is indeed just a 1930’s variant of Peter, so it appears that they’re using Ben Reilly in this series simply to just not confuse the audience by having another Peter Parker.
The show is set to feature plenty of iconic classic villains for our hero to face off against including; Sandman, Molten Man and Electro.
Spider-Noir premieres exclusively on Prime Video on May 27th.
