South Coast Police District are seeking assistance from the community.
Authorities are calling for anyone with information on the widespread illegal cutting down of trees around the Jervis Bay and surrounding areas to come forward.
Since September 2022, more than 120 trees have been illegally cut down across numerous locations.
These include Jervis Bay National Park, Corramy Regional Park, Woollamia Nature Reserve, Parma Creek Nature Reserve, Jerrawangala National Park, Morton National Park, Conjola National Park, and Yerriyong State Forest.
Two males in a small silver Mitsubishi hatchback have been witnessed at several of these locations.
