A truck driver has been trapped after crashing into the back of a parked trailer on the Princes Highway.
About 7pm Thursday December 7, emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, about 300 metres north of Cambewarra Road, Bomaderry, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and found a Hino tip truck had crashed into the back of a parked plant trailer that was attached to a prime mover.
The driver and sole occupant, a 27-year-old man, was trapped before being released by Ambulance Rescue.
He was treated for back and chest injuries and taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
The crash blocked south bound lanes of the Princes Highway for several hours.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues.
