Investigations are underway into the cause of a spectacular car fire in Nowra on Saturday.
Witnesses reported a series of explosions as the vehicle burst into flames, next to the Stocklands carpark.
Pumper 405 and 440 fire fighters managed the extinguish the fire.

Fortunately the occupants escaped injury, the car is a write-off though.
