About 12:15pm on Friday 2 May 2025, police were called to Junction Street, Nowra following reports of an alleged assault.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District responded and were told a 34-year-old man had allegedly attempted to strike a man with a car jack.
NSW Ambulance treated the man for a suspected broken arm, before he was taken to Shoalhaven Hospital for treatment.

Officers arrested a 34-year-old year old man at the scene and he was taken to Nowra Police Station.
He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 27 May 2025.
