Deadly consequences on regional roads

New research has found drivers continue to engage in dangerous behaviours, especially on our RURAL and REGIONAL ROADS.

The findings released ahead of RURAL ROAD SAFETY MONTH show 1 in 4 drivers (27%) admit to relaxing their safety standards when outside major cities and towns.

Nearly 1 in 2 drivers also confessed to breaking a road rule when driving in a REGIONAL AREA, such as speeding (39%), driving fatigued (17%) and using a mobile phone (12%).
