Temporary disruption to DA tracking

March 23, 2026 10:14 am in by

A planned replacement of Council’s Development Application (DA) tracker software has been fast-tracked to help ensure the ongoing security of the organisation’s website and systems.

The existing DA Tracker has been disabled as a precaution after Council received advice of a potential vulnerability in the software.

City Development Director, Emma Struys said Council is working on an interim solution until the new software is expected to be in place in May.

“This is a proactive and precautionary security measure, and we’re working towards a temporary fix as we transition to new software as quickly as possible,” Ms Struys said.

“While the tracker is offline, our priority is keeping services available. Customers can still lodge applications, view documents and track progress through Council’s website,” she said.

All applications currently on notification are visible through Council’s eProperty system which can be accessed through the ‘Lodge a DA Submission’ button on the website homepage.

For applications under assessment or determined, the community can view weekly reports outlining their status via Council’s Development Applications Received or Determined webpage.
