Residents and businesses in parts of Moss Vale and Bowral will soon see essential sewer
main renewal works taking place as Wingecarribee Shire Council upgrades and renews
sections of the local sewer network.
These upgrades will help improve the reliability of sewer services, reduce the risk of blockages and overflows, and extend the life of critical underground infrastructure.
Council has engaged approved contractors Interflow Pty Ltd and Infrastructure Renewal
Services Pty Ltd to deliver the program.
Works are scheduled from Monday 12 January to Friday 31 July 2026, occurring 7am–5pm on weekdays and, where required, 9am–3pm on Saturdays.
The project includes high-pressure water jet cleaning and CCTV inspection of sewer mains, followed by rehabilitation and renewal works.
Residents will be notified by letter at least the day before when works are planned in their area. Some properties may require contractor access to private sewer access chambers or manholes. Contractors will not enter homes, and residents need not be home during the works. If access is required, residents will receive a notification letter at least the day before.
Sewerage services will be maintained throughout the renewal process. Cooperation
with the contractors is appreciated.
