Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on the Hume Motorway at Berrima while Transport for NSW carries out road repair work.
Concrete road slabs will be replaced on the southbound lanes between Medway Road and Mereworth Road at Berrima.
Work will be carried out from Sunday 19 October to Thursday 6 November between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, and between 7am and 3pm on Saturdays, weather permitting.
During work, southbound traffic will be diverted onto northbound lanes under contraflow traffic arrangements 24 hours a day, seven days a week until work is complete.
A reduced speed limit of 60 km/h will be in place and road users should allow up to 20 minutes’ additional travel time.
Weekend travel delays are expected and delays of up to 30 minutes may be experienced.
Southbound access to Medway Road and Mereworth Road will be open at all times during work under the guidance of traffic control.
