South Highlands first responders had to cut a driver from the wreckage of a car after it crashed and rolled down and embankment on the Hume Highway north of the Welby offramp just after 4.30pm Wednesday 25 March.
The injured person treated by paramedics on the scene before being taken to hospital by Ambulance in a stable condition.
The crash shutdown north-bound lanes of the Highway which weren’t reopened until after 7 oclock.
