Brett Steele is the newly elected Shoalhaven Ward 1 Councillor following a countback election by the NSW Electoral Commission.
Cr Steele replaces Jason Cox who announced his resignation on 6 November 2025.
Ahead of tonight’s Ordinary Meeting, Cr Steele will be sworn in by CEO Andrew Constance.

Shoalhaven City Council is made up of 13 Councillors including a Popularly Elected Mayor.
There are four Councillors representing each of the three wards. Information and contact details for all Councillors can be found on Council’s website.
