Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands men over the age of 40 are being urged to organise a PSA test this Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
New data reveals the rate of PSA testing is dangerously low in many parts of the country, increasing the risk of late diagnoses and avoidable death.
The call comes as the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia launches The Long Run campaign which aims to raise funds for early detection and life-saving research.
