Wingecarribee Shire Council invites local contractors to a free and informative Procurement Workshop on Thursday 22 May 2025, to build confidence in the local government procurement process and discover opportunities.
Held at the Civic Centre Theatrette (entry via Donkin Ave) in Moss Vale, the event will run
from 5.30pm to 7pm.
The event will include a brief recap of Council’s November 2024 Procurement Workshop and provide an opportunity for attendees to give feedback to help improve Council’s procurement practices.
Wingecarribee Shire Council is committed to strengthening partnerships with local
businesses and making procurement processes more accessible and transparent.
Guest speakers from Haslin Constructions and Local Government Procurement (LGP) will
share valuable insights, covering topics such as:
- How work is sourced within the local government sector;
- What contractors can do to prepare for potential work opportunities;
- An overview of LGP and their panel arrangements.
