Wingecarribee Shire Council will start construction on the Moss Vale Showground Footpath Upgrade on Monday, 13 May 2024.
This project made possible thanks to a $194,157 grant from the NSW Government’s Active Transport: Get NSW Active Program 2022/23, will improve see a new footpath on Robertson Road in front of the Moss Vale Showground.
Construction will primarily take place between the road shoulder opposite Pine St up to James St for an estimated duration of 3 to 5 weeks, weather permitting.
Residents and visitors can expect minor delays along Robertson Road during the entry and exit of concrete trucks and work vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the project.
According to Council, the improvements will create a safer and more accessible walking experience for all
users, especially during the busy Showground events.
