The spirited Southern Highlands village of Robertson has celebrated two wins at the Local Government NSW Top Tourism Town Awards, taking home silver and the People’s Choice Award in the Small Tourism Town category.

The awards recognise exceptional visitor experiences and community pride. Robertson’s
dual success reflects its unique offerings and the passionate support it receives from locals and visitors alike.

Jennifer Macquarie, President of the Robertson Business Chamber, said that the town is
beaming with pride.

“We’re absolutely over the moon to take out Silver and the People’s Choice Award! This is such a proud moment for our community. It’s a celebration of everything that makes
Robertson unforgettable – from our artisan food scene and breathtaking landscapes to our creative spirit and iconic landmarks. And to know the public voted for us – what an honour!”

Robertson’s offering is as distinctive as it is diverse. From rolling green hills made famous by Babe, art galleries, paddock to plate restaurants, truffle farms, cheesemakers, and the ever-charming Big Potato.

Visitors can explore lush national parks, discover hidden waterfalls, and experience the town’s rich arts, culture, and culinary scene, all wrapped in warm country hospitality.

Wingecarribee Shire Mayor Jesse Fitzpatrick also applauded the achievement.
