Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on Mittagong Road (Bowral Road) at Bowral for slope stabilisation work to make the road safer for motorists and residents.
Work will be carried out around 100 metres north of the intersection with Old Bowral Road from Sunday 18 February to Thursday 7 March, weather permitting.
Work will be carried out at night between 6pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday.
The road will be limited to a single lane during work hours with a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h.
Motorists should allow up to five minutes additional travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
