Skills Required

Certificate IV in Mental Health and Mental Health First Aid or 2 years work experience working within psycho-socical/mental health work environment and happy to work towards gaining a Certificate IV in Mental Health Prior experience as a support worker in mental health-focused environments, community outreach, or residential settings. Desired: 2 years relevant mental health industry experience. Strong skills in conducting and updating risk assessments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of the NDIS, including operational guidelines and effective utilisation of NDIS packages for participants. Current driver’s license, access to a car, NDIS worker screening clearance, NSW Working with Children Check, and First Aid and CPR certification.
