Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Princes Highway at South Street in Ulladulla as part of safety improvements at the intersection.

To minimise the impacts on motorists, work will be carried out at night from Sunday 25 October to Thursday 29 October between 7:30pm and 4am, weather permitting.

The road will be closed between Wason Street and Deering Street and the traffic lights at Wason Street may be blacked out or flashing yellow.

Detours will be in place for light vehicles via Wason Street and for heavy vehicles via St Vincent Street.

Work will be carried out on the road shoulder on weekdays from Monday 2 November between 7am and 6pm for up to seven weeks, weather permitting. During this time, parking adjacent to the work area will be temporarily removed to allow for safe access.

An additional round of night work may be required at the end of the project.

A reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place at various locations along the highway for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
