Newly elected Shoalhaven Deputy Mayor Selena Clancy says she has no plans for a long-term political career, despite confirming she has been approached by One Nation, after winning the deputy mayoralty this week.
Councillor Clancy defeated Councillor Jemma Tribe in the ballot.
Former Shoalhaven Deputy Mayor Peter Wilkins withdrew his nomination and joined Councillor Bob Proudfoot to support Ms Tribe.

Councillor Clancy says she’ll focus on serving the community over the next two years, but won’t contest the next local government election and has ruled out any state or federal run.
