The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses (CPR) will be holding its first ever ‘Nup to the Cup’ Parade.
CPR has revealed 175 thoroughbred racehorses lost their lives from racing in Australia in 2024/25.
In the Southern Highlands, the Highlands Centre for Healing is staging a peaceful protest and introducing three retired racehorses to those who attend.

The Centre said this social event is the perfect opportunity to connect with these gentle souls in a nurturing environment, learn about who horses and their mates truly are, and what they care about most.
