The NSW SES Wingecarribee and Moss Vale units’ rescue team were activated for a Road Crash Rescue in Bowral.
On arrival, they found a car had struck a tree with a passenger trapped by confinement.
Rescue Operators worked alongside NSW Police officers, NSW Ambulance Paramedics and Firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW to stabilise the vehicle and passenger.

They then cut and removed the side of the vehicle to gain safe access and extricated the passenger, who was further treated and transported by Paramedics and a Toll Rescue Helicopter team.
