Roads and Maritime Service are getting closer to the construction of the new bridge to connect Nowra and Bomaderry. They want to know what residents think when it comes to construction night works so they can minimise delay and inconvenience to motorists as much as possible. That means you can have your say through an easy online survey.
Adrian from Transport New South Wales joined me on the show today to fill us in on how it's all going to work.
The information session is being held at the North Nowra Community Centre on Thursday, August 1st between 3pm and 7pm, and is another opportunity for officials to discuss what's happening with the project and for your voice to be heard when it comes to scheduling night works for the construction of the bridge.
The design and construction contracts are expected to be finalised in the first half of next year with construction beginning at the end of the year.
