The Hyams Beach Villages and Ratepayers Association is set to hold it's community meeting this Saturday to discuss holiday congestion in the tiny beachside village.
The meeting to be held at the Vincentia Public School Hall from 2pm will also present the results of a recent survey conducted by Council.
President of the association Mark Crowther says while welcoming the meeting, they've had to push hard for it to happen.
He says the association expects this holiday season to be even busier.
"We've been saying for a long time there are 400 car spots in Hyams Beach and over Easter, we had 3000 car's coming in per day", Mr Crowther said.
"Obviously 3000 doesn't go into 400", he said.
The association has been critical of a number of short-term solutions to be implemented by Council, calling for a limit to the number of cars allowed into the village.
Mr Crowther added while Councillors have been fantastic to deal with, management has been a different issue.
"It started with Andrew Guile in January moving a motion that something needs to be done, it's unfortunate that management has done very little in the 12 months since that motion was moved", Mr Crowther said.
