The Federal Labor Candidate for Gilmore says a Shorten Labor Government would invest $2.8 Billion back into Hospitals.
The pledge comes as Fiona Phillips highlights a funding cut from the Federal Government of $715 Million saying it's having a devastating impact in the Shoalhaven.
Ms Phillips says staffing is one of the biggest issues at Shoalhaven Hospital.
"When the Federal Liberal Government cuts hospital funding to the states, that means there's less money for doctors, less money for nurses and that's what we need to help reduce elective surgery waiting lists", Ms Phillip said.
