Kangaroo Valley could get it's own fixed wireless provider amid frustrations with the NBN

Residents in Kangaroo Valley who are sick of slow NBN speeds are looking to take matters into their own hands.

John Sinclair has set up his own IT company which is looking to set up a fixed wireless network in the area.

The signal would be relayed from Nowra via Cambewarra Mountain, but to make it happen, he needs about 120 residents to each put up about $1000.

Friendly Inn Owner Peter Thompson has told WIN News the NBN has been extremely frustrating for local businesses and basic everyday luxuries like tap n' go or the ATM are not available.
