A new report reveals how local hotel and accommodation providers on the South Coast could benefit by attracting the lucrative Chinese travel market.
The latest Chinese International Travel Monitor shows Australia remains a top destination and is ranked among the most welcoming and family friendly places in the world.
It also found Chinese tourists are travelling more often, staying longer and spending an average 28% of their annual income on international travel.
Although David Spasovic from Hotels.Com says we could be doing more to meet the needs of Chinese travellers.
