People still aren't getting the lockdown message.

The NSW Police Highway Patrol has issued more than 30 infringements including several to Sydneysiders during a traffic and COVID compliance operation on the Princes Highway at Dunmore last Saturday.

14 people were fined for breaching the public health orders including a 37-year-old woman and 41-year-old man from Campbelltown.

They were heading to Kiama without a reasonable excuse and were fined a thousand dollars each.

Police said checks revealed that it was the fourth time the woman has allegedly breached the orders.

A couple from Cronulla were also fined and directed to return home after attempting to travel to Nowra without a permit, while a 38-year-old man from Narellan Vale was also fined for travelling to the region without a valid reason.
