Man caught high range drink driving twice in two and a half hours in South Nowra

Police have charged a man with high-range drink-driving, twice in the space of two-and-a-half hours.

Just after 7.30am yesterday, Police were called to the Princes Highway at South Nowra , after reports a car was stopped on a driveway, blocking access to a nearby quarry.

The 40-year-old driver from Sussex Inlet was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station where he allegedly returned a reading of 0.205.

His licence was suspended, and he was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice.

Then, about two and a half hours later, Police will allege the man was seen driving the same vehicle along the Princes Highway also at South Nowra.

He was taken back to Nowra Police Station where returned a reading of 0.255.

The 40 year was charged with drive whilst suspended, and high range PCA.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Monday June 7.
