Newsagency robbed in Ulladulla

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a newsagency in Ulladulla.

Just after midday today a man armed with a knife and a stocking covering his face – entered the business on Wason Street and threatened a 53-year-old female employee.

Another employee, a 49-year-old man, intervened and gave the the man cash before he fled.

He was last seen in a carpark behind Wason Street.

Although shaken, both employees were uninjured.

Officers from South Coast Police District now have an investigation underway.
