Shoalhaven City Council Rangers have been called into investigate the destruction of more than 30 Banksia Trees at the Ocean Street Carpark in Culburra.
Jerringa Tribal Leader, Ronald Carberry made the discovery earlier in the week and says it's the worst case of tree vandalism he's ever seen in the region.
The trees are also an important food source for the black cockatoo and help hold the banks together.
Mr. Carberry says they just want people to enjoy the beauty of the region.
Council Rangers attended the site yesterday to complete an official report.
