Police have arrested four people allegedly responsible for damaging around 50 cars on the South Coast.
Between July 16 and 17, more than 30 cars parked in residential areas in Lake Illawarra, Mount Warrigal, Oak Flats, Barrack Heights and Barrack Point had windows and mirrors smashed.
Similar incidents were reported in the Nowra, Kiama and Shell Cove areas on Friday July 24, with more than 20 cars damaged.
Just after two this morning, police received reports of car windows being smashed in the Oak Flats area.
A man, two women and a teenage boy were arrested on Shellharbour Road, Warilla.
An 18-year-old man and 20-year-old woman remain in custody.
A 14-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman were released pending further inquiries.
Inquiries are continuing.
