The NSW Rural Fire Service has confirmed that the Currowan fire has destroyed at least one home along the Clyde River.
RFS Spokesperson Ben Shephard says they're trying to get their building impact assessment teams onto the fire ground to assess any damage as the fire continues to spread.
He says there is the likelihood that other homes and structures have been destroyed.
Residents are being asked to remain vigilant as it could be another difficult day out on the fire ground.
