Temperatures are set to soar across the Shoalhaven, with the mercury expected to hit 35 degrees in Nowra today.
It'll be the warmest day we've had this Spring, with the conditions being caused by a warm air mass sitting over inland nsw being blown over to the Coast by north westerly winds
The previous hottest day was back on October three when the mercury hit 31.
Bureau of Meteorology Forecaster Rob Taggart says things should cool down tomorrow for the Shoalhaven River Festival with a top of 27 degrees.
A reminder that a very high fire danger is in place.
