The SES is reminding us to stay out of flood waters as rain continues to fall across the Illawarra, South Coast and Highlands.
One Illawarra road in Dapto experienced flash flooding overnight.. something not seen in a while.
Up to 20 millimetres of rain is forecast for the Illawarra again today as well as a late storm.
Rosemary Barr from the Bureau of Meteorology said unlike the last day and half, the rain will be much lighter.
"We'll continue to see showers across the region but we aren't expecting nearly the kind of rain fall totals we were seeing.
"This will also be in much more showery rain so it won't be quite as persistent and it'll be a lot more patchy," she said.
All up since the rain started Nowra's received close to 48 millimetres.. Moss Vale 34... and Jervis Bay the best with 58 mills since Monday.
A shower or two is expected tomorrow and possibly again on Friday.
