The Knights book grand final showdown with Jamberoo

The Kiama Knights have advanced to their third straight Group 7 Grand Final after beating the Shellharbour Sharks 18-10 at Cec Glenholmes Oval.

Matt Morris scored right on half-time to give the Knights a 12-10 lead before they kept the minor premiers scoreless in the second half.

The prelim final victory extends the Knights winning streak to eight games after last losing back in round 13 when they went down to the Gorillas 24-20.

The Knights now face Jamberoo for the Premiership this Sunday at 4pm at Collegians Sports Complex in Figtree.

Sunday's clash is a rematch of the 2017 decider which saw Jamberoo end their 43-year title drought.

Kiama fullback Tom Atkins said the Superoos are the form team of the competition.

"The last there years Jamberoo have been a good side and two years ago we played them in the Grand Final and they got over us there so It'll be good to play them this weekend and hopefully get the win," Atkins said.
