Hot on the heels of the Sea Snake sighting at Bulli beach yesterday, another has turned up - this time a venomous Yellow Bellied Sea Snake.
This specimen was photographed by Sel Quintrell ,she spotted it on Kirby's Beach at Berrara, which is South of Sussex Inlet. The venom of sea snakes is highly toxic, so if you spot one it's best to give them a very wide berth. You can get all the info on the above reptile and other Sea Snakes from the Australian Museum website which is right here.
