Covid update for Wingecarribee

There have been no new cases for the Wingecarribee up to eight o'clock last night.

According to the NSW Health website there were only four tests carried out.

There are currently 20 active cases in the shire.

Woolworths at Mittagong in the Highlands Marketplace has been listed as a venue of concern.

The exposure dates are:

Friday 24 September 2021, 8:45am to 9:45am
Friday 1 October 2021, 4:20pm to 6:05pm

Anyone who attended the store between these times is being asked get tested immediately and self-isolate until they get a negative result.

Across the state, and there have been 406 new local Covid cases in New South Wales.

711 people are in hospital, 143 in intensive care.

Six people with the virus have died.
