Figures from Core Logic show property prices in the Shoalhaven increased 2.7 per cent over April and 2.1 per cent in the Highlands.

That takes the median price value for the Shoalhaven to $674,000 and almost $925,000 for the Highlands.

Growth over the last quarter was 9.8 per cent for the Shoalhaven and 9 per cent for the Highlands.

Meantime figures for the last 12 months are extraordinary with prices going up 19.5 per cent in the Shoalhaven and 18.8 in the Highlands.

Head of Research Eliza Owens says they've started to see an increase in the number of vendors taking advantage of the selling conditions

But... she says this increase in supply is heading into a period where there are traditionally less properties sold.
