A man has been charged in connection with a number of alleged break ins which took place at Berrima.

Back on Wednesday this week, Police received reports of several break-ins and steal from motor vehicles.

About 8am on Friday, officers attended Bowral Hospital and arrested a 22-year-old man from McKellar in the ACT.

He was taken to Southern Highlands Police Station where he was charged with 14 offences including:

Drive conveyance taken without consent of owner, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, larceny (x8), break & enter house destroy property, break and enter dwelling -house with intent, break enter and steal and aggravated break and enter to commit serious indictable offence-people there.

He was refused bail and appeared at Goulburn Local Court yesterday.
