The Southern Highlands Art Studio Trail is underway for another year.
The trail was launched at the Shac in Robertson by local artist Ben Quilty on Friday.
A record 46 studios will be displaying the works of around one hundred artists.
Wingecarribee Councillor Larry Whipper says the arts are really at the forefront of people's minds at the moment, particularly with the upcoming community day for the new regional art gallery.
This is taking place on November 17.
