The Southern Highlands is due for a good dumping of rain today and tomorrow with up to 50 millimetres of rain forecast over both days.
The conditions are being caused by a strong cold front that's coming up from the south west across NSW and a trough developing near the Coast bringing some moisture in off the sea.
Most of the rain is likely to fall today, with follow ups on Tuesday.
Bureau Forecaster Jake Phillips says it's some good news for our farmers.
