A rare 1948 Daimler landaulette used by Queen Elizabeth II during her historic 1954 Royal Tour of Australia will be on display at Wakefield Park in Goulburn this Saturday.

The vehicle which is six metres long and weighs four tonnes has been restored by the National Museum of Australia.

Staff assessed more than 30,000 components and then rebuilt it piece by piece.

The Daimler will also be doing a regal lap of the Wakefield Park track on Saturday.
