A woman, posing as a health care worker, has conned her way into a Greenwell Point home before stealing a man’s wallet.
Just after 5.30pm on Thursday 20 February 2025, officers attached to South Coast Police District attended a home on South Street, Greenwell Point, after reports of a break in.
Police were told the occupant, a 78-year-old man, answered the door and spoke to a female who claimed to be an after hours care worker.

The woman entered the premises and is alleged to have stolen a wallet before leaving.
She is described as a blonde with a slim build and was wearing bone coloured top and skirt.
Investigations into the incident continue.
