Independent Mayoral Candidate Jemma Tribe says her team will not be preferencing anyone at the upcoming Shoalhaven Local Government Election, despite rumours in the media on the subject:
“We have made ourselves very clear, we are not doing preference deals, the power is in people’s hands.”
“To suggest we are doing anything else is scuttlebutt, people can take a look at our how to vote flyers themselves.”
Ms Tribe has released the statement in response to a barrage of messages from people who have been ‘misinformed’.
“We are the only true independent candidates running in this election, we are not members of any political party and we are not preferencing any political party.”
With 17 days until prepoll begins its very important that residents are aware of the facts says Jemma:
“Now is the time for people to look at who is running and decide if they want more of the same, or if they’re after something different – a team beholden to no political party, whose candidates have a proven track record in business and community.”
“We are asking people to vote 1 Jemma Tribe in the Mayoral Ballot and 1 in Group D above the line in the Councillor ballot paper for Wards 1, 2 and 3.”
