Bamara has been appointed by the Department of Social Services to deliver the Inclusive Employment Australia program encompassing Nowra, Kiama and Ulladulla.
In the true spirit of reconciliation, from November 1, 2025, Bamara will begin helping people across these communities with disability, injury, or a health condition to secure and sustain meaningful employment, while also supporting employers in their adoption of inclusive recruitment and workplace practices.

Bamara has been delivering culturally competent programs that positively impact the lives of participants for seven years, including supporting people with disability in their access to NDIS services.
With Bamara appointed to deliver Inclusive Employment Australia in 10 other employment services areas nationally, the company’s expansion builds on its proven track record of driving meaningful change in the lives of people with disability, through sensitive, respectful, and impactful employment and education support.
Lesley Zarb, CEO of Bamara, says of the organisation’s new service capacity: ‘We feel honoured and privileged to have been entrusted with helping people with disability in Shoalhaven, Nowra, Kiama, and Ulladulla to build their capacity and find careers through meaningful employment.’
Bamara’s unique, culturally competent service delivery model will include its ‘Circle of Support’ model: a holistic, circular service ecosystem involving participants, families, employers, community services, disability networks, and training providers as equal partners, ensuring that sustainable employment solutions are relationship-driven and community-embedded.
Zarb continues: ‘Our compassionate, culturally competent commitment to helping people to realise their potential through work continues to set us apart, and we’re looking forward to bringing our passion for driving positive change to people with disability in these communities.
