Emergency services were called to a Search and Rescue for missing females in the bushland in fading light around the vicinity of Mermaid Pools on Sunday February 2.
As the Services were coordinating their strategies to locate the lost persons at a staging area up the road, a NSW Rural Fire Service tanker from Tahmoor Rural Fire Brigade was scouting the Pot Holes car park where they located the alleged persons exiting the area.
The total party of five women were safe and well, with the only injuries being a bump to the head on one woman.

After being checked over by Paramedics, the women made their way back home safely.
