You'd better brush off your Bend and Snap because we are officially counting down the days until we get another installment of Legally Blonde.
Entertainment website Deadline is reporting that MGM is near closing deals with Reese Witherspoon to reprise her role as the fabulous Elle Woods in the third installment of the film series.
The original film was released in 2001 and grossed at $141 million at a budget of just $18 million. The movie has remained a staple in the 17 years that followed - especially for younger female audiences that have since discovered it on DVD or online. The movie was also translated into a hit Broadway musical that is still travelling the world.
